“I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.” – 1 Corinthians 9: V22
Beloved, the believer’s object should be not only to improve their own lives, but able to save lost souls. The believer should be renewed in heart, forgiven, sanctified, in fact, saved. To compass our salvation, Jesus gave himself up with untiring zeal.
O thou believer, are you telling abroad the gospel, warning and beseeching men to be reconciled to God?. The prayers of believers should be importunate and his labours incessant. To save souls should be our consuming passion, our ambition, our calling.
Let the believer become a servant to all men, toiling for Jesus, feeling a woe within him if he preached not the gospel. Then let us amend our ways, if we have sought after inferior objects, and forgotten that men needed to be saved.
Let the gospel be the one all-important business with us – If only we might save some!
This was the crown for which Christ strove, the sole and sufficient reward of all his labours and self-denials just to save lost souls. Where is our love for Christ, if we seek not His honour in the salvation of men?
Let us have an undying zeal for lost souls to be won for Christ.. Amen! JESUS LOVES YOU. Start your day with Jesus. Beloved, have a blessed day.
